Nick Williams hopes for the spring as the time in the coming weeks to help prepare Harry Diamond Cheltenham Festival.
In the exciting sixth stretched their unbeaten run to four wins and two jumps in the bumpers on the victory in the Classic novices’ hurdle Prestbury Park on Saturday.
He may not have been impressive, as in the past and beating Bensalem half length, but it was enough for him to his position as head of the bid at around 7 / 2 for the Ballymore Properties novices’ hurdle.
“He will not be carried out before the festival,” said Devin coach. “He is Ballymore Properties. He won three times more than the trip twice in Cheltenham and one in Newbury, so it seems to be traveling.
“We just have some warm weather now well into their coats. This will help.”
Harry Diamond had to pull out all the stops for his unbeaten record in class two years of course Classic novices’ hurdle at Cheltenham.
Nick Williams’ prisoner was sent by the 8-15 market leader on the back of its success in Challow obstacle in Newbury and heavily traveled all under Timmy Murphy.

But he seemed in trouble as Bensalem cruised to the front soon after turning for home, Timmy Murphy elected to my own course in the rotation right inside.

There was little between the two on the last flight, but Harry Diamond fight back to score by a half length.

Sky Bet left unchanged winner 3 / 1 favorite for the Ballymore Properties obstacle festival in March, while the runner-up 10 / 1 from 20s.

“He is as brave as a lion,” said the coach. “He never should have been disabled in the course of the barriers and it should happen some time, of course – although I do not really want to do,” he said.

“The second horse can not be estimated and with them comes a very clear way so watch this, should not be back for the festival.”

Bensalem of teacher Alan King added: “We have the winner a day, but I’m 3-0 with him at the moment. It is disappointing to win, but I am very happy with my horse.

“This is the first good game and he was a good fight, it will be good. I know it idles, if he is in front and he had no business in the last phase.

“His work is always very good and he makes heavy fighter next year.

“He will be included in both Albert Bartlett and Ballymore Festival and will decide the next time we go.”
